Francis 31years I am an avid road-1970s to our days. I am unfortunately not in the art (in military time) but soon I'll spend my fimo, for pretending to be road as I wished for so long ....... J have some questions for alumni ONATRA, I just wanted to know if the company ONATRA had a link with Onassis (famous Greek shipping) and if after ONATRA well (Transchem, samat, borel brother onalor) blue tractor and one chemical tanker saw in the 90s ....... questions I asked myself many years ago but nobody was able to answer me properly. I've lived my youth in the 57 a Faulquemont or there was a deposit ONATRA and I remember the yellow and red units plying the roads of France .... I knew then that was the end of this great company. Very good idea and BRAVO to the people who created this site. We see that solidarity remains somewhere! I do not pretend to have worked for ONATRA, since I was with Peter ONATE Bénite with Mrs. Caron and Thierry MIRMAN, just before the end total. But I have seen many elders, "true". People are super nice. I remember among other Papillon, a figure in ONATRA. It was part of the furniture. Desaires From Gerard, with whom I went to Algeciras. I forgot the name of the other drivers Bénite Pierre, but I listened carefully to their stories. At the time I was only 32 years. I regretted not having known their experiences. They taught me to do internationally. Me small driver national !!!!! I spent 7 months with these wonderful GREAT DRIVER. I drive since 1978 and the first book I bought that truck is "life is priceless." There are many ONATRA in pictures.

Motor carrier aged 40 and above all passionate about trucks, I devoured your site. Bravo actually does not make us any younger.
At the age of 15 years (in 1978), I had the chance to visit the site of Vitrolles, hosted by the communications officer at the time, who introduced me to the offices, operations, Technical Administrative Service (impressive all schedules crossing mine), the workshop with his tunnel retreading etc.. Then a few years later I visited LACQ.
At the time, ONATRA received its first TR 280 and had already celebrated as ONAJET! There was already talk of Kenworth W900, because Freddy Van Gaever already believed to passive safety with booths to cover.
I always liked this company, with myself because my classes in another major business of the day, transport Laurent Tours, now taken by Norbert Dentressangle.
